Our 7 Day Mexican Riviera Cruise

We went on the Norwegian Bliss, which sailed out of the Los Angeles port. We were excited to explore the beachside cities and historical towns while visiting three ports during our 7 day cruise.

We had a balcony room which was amazing! We slept with the door open and fell asleep listening to the ocean. It was amazing to wake up and watch the ship arrive at the port of call.

Ports of Call:

Puerto Vallarta - Between the beautiful beaches, parks and vibrant art landscapes, there's something for everyone here. We decided to swim with the dolphins & we had the BEST time. We'd highly recommend this excursion. It's an unforgettable experience for all ages.

Mazatlan - We did a sightseeing excursion that showed us the city’s cultural and historical highlights.

Cabo - is surrounded by clear waters and sun-kissed beaches. This was our FAVORITE stop. We went on a Luxury Sailing & Snorkeling excursion.

Right when you get off the tender boat, there is lots of shops & some dining options.

Norwegian Bliss Ship

Be sure to check out the sail away party!! They're a great time. Music • Drinks • Dancing

Every evening they put a daily itinerary outside your door. It is full of all the activities that will be taking place on the ship. On cruising days it's jam packed with stuff, you will never be bored. On port days they have some activities if you choose to stay on the ship during the day and then in the evening they have a bunch of activities.

The Norwegian Bliss has: mini golf, a race car track, several pools, an aqua park, laser tag, bowling, a casino, a full spa/salon, thermal suite, a fitness center, a teen club, a video arcade, a theater, comedy clubs, a cigar lounge, night club & so much more.

The entertainment was AMAZING!! We saw the Jersey Boys, the Beatles & a comedy show. Be sure to book the shows prior to sailing.

The cruise ship has an Observation Louge that is a great place to relax, grab a drink and snack then take in the stunning views of turquoise waters.

Dining:

They serve a variety of cuisine! They have lots of complimentary dining options include three main dining rooms, a buffet and a variety of casual cafés, grills and on-the-go choices.

The Main Dining Rooms offer a menu that changes daily and have the Chef's Signature Dishes. Every meal we had was delicious & the service was top notch.

They also have 24 hour room serve available for a small delivery charge. We loved having breakfast delivered on the days we were in port.

The ship has speciality dining restaurants. You must pay or purchase a package before you board that allows you to dine in these restaurants. I would HIGHLY recommend making reservations 30 days prior, as they do fill up. We ate at Teppanyaki, Cagney's Steakhouse, Coco's, Dolce Gelato, La Cucina & Le Bistro.

About the ship:

PROS - There are a lot of things to do!

The staff is amazing except the excursion desk. We had a horrible experience with them.

The ship is very clean and the room attendants are great. There is lots of dining options & the food was excellent, no matter where we ate.

They have an adult only pool, which was nice to relax at if we could get a chair.

CONS - It's VERY busy! The ship was sold out & most cruises are nowadays. There will be lines for everything including all the dining options. The observation area is super busy all day.

All the pools and chairs on the decks will be full the entire day. People save chairs for hours with no one ever sitting in them.

If you go to the salon or spa be prepared, they will push products and services hard. We fell for it and spent over $2,000.00 ;) oops!

Overall, we had a great time on the Norwegian Bliss!!
