We spent a couple days relaxing and exploring Atlantic City.
Here are some top MUST-DO activities that I’d recommend if you’re visiting the area:
1.) Stroll the Atlantic City Boardwalk: The iconic Atlantic City Boardwalk is a must-visit. Stretching over four miles, it offers scenic views of the ocean, easy access to casinos, shops, and eateries, and plenty of entertainment. Make sure to stop by Steel Pier for rides and games.
2.) Try Your Luck at the Casinos; Known for its casinos, Atlantic City offers plenty of options for gaming enthusiasts. Visit popular spots like the Borgata, Caesars, and Hard Rock Casino for a classic Atlantic City experience.
3.) Visit the Absecon Lighthouse: As New Jersey’s tallest lighthouse, the Absecon Lighthouse offers stunning views of the city and ocean. Climb the 228 steps for a panoramic view of Atlantic City and learn about its maritime history.
4.) Explore the Atlantic City Aquarium: Perfect for families, the Atlantic City Aquarium showcases a variety of marine life, from tropical fish to sea turtles. It’s an educational and fun way to spend an afternoon, especially with kids.
5.) Take a Boat Tour: Explore Atlantic City from the water with a boat tour along the coast. Dolphin-watching tours and sunset cruises are popular options that offer a relaxing way to enjoy the city’s beautiful waterfront.
6.) Shop at The Playground Pier or Tanger Outlets: For shoppers, Atlantic City offers great retail therapy. The Playground Pier at Caesars is an upscale shopping mall with ocean views, while Tanger Outlets provides a more budget-friendly option with dozens of brand-name stores.
7.) Enjoy a Show or Concert: Atlantic City is known for its entertainment scene. Catch a world-class concert, comedy show, or theater performance at venues like Boardwalk Hall or the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
8.) Hit the Beach: Of course, no trip to Atlantic City is complete without some beach time. Relax on the sandy shores or enjoy activities like surfing, paddleboarding, or beach volleyball.
Each of these activities gives a unique taste of what makes Atlantic City a favorite destination for travelers.
